The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Alumni Association of Maharashtra (JAAM) is a national platform based in Mumbai Maharashtra dedicated to bringing together former students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs). As a thriving community of professionals, entrepreneurs, academicians, and changemakers, we are united by the values of excellence, integrity, and service that Navodaya instilled in us.

We believe that our journey with Navodaya doesn’t end at school—it continues through lifelong connections, mentorship, and giving back to the institution that shaped us.

Our Mission

The mission of the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Alumni Association of Maharashtra is centered around five key pillars:

  1. Strengthening the Alumni Network:
    Create an inclusive, structured platform for alumni to engage across regional, national, and global chapters, fostering meaningful connections.

  2. Supporting Current Students and Schools:
    Provide mentorship, career guidance, scholarships, and infrastructural support to help students succeed academically, professionally, and economically.

  3. Fostering Professional Growth and Innovation:
    Facilitate job placements, internships, and networking while encouraging entrepreneurship, research, and cross-industry collaborations for alumni innovation and growth.

  4. Engaging in Social and Community Service:
    Organize impactful community projects like health camps, environmental initiatives, and disaster relief, while encouraging alumni involvement in nation-building.

  5. Preserving the Navodaya Ethos and Culture:
    Celebrate Navodaya’s core values of excellence, integrity, and unity, fostering a culture of lifelong learning, curiosity, and leadership.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Alumni Association of Maharashtra (JAAM) envisions a strong, well-connected community of former students who are committed to fostering educational excellence, personal and professional growth, and social responsibility. It aims to uphold the legacy of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya’s (JNVs) by supporting students, alumni, and society through mentorship, collaboration, and service-oriented initiatives.

Our vision is to empower Navodayans to be leaders, innovators, and change-makers who contribute to the progress of India and the world while staying true to the values of integrity, inclusivity, and excellence.
